1. Introduction

GuessInho is a daily football guessing game developed and published by Floki. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

GuessInho does not require an email address, a password, or any real-name account. When you first open the app, an anonymous, randomly-generated identifier is created to keep track of your games and your score.

You may optionally choose a nickname to appear on the daily and monthly leaderboards. This nickname is chosen freely and does not need to be your real name.

Account data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties.

2.2 Gameplay Data

To operate the daily game and leaderboards, we store your guesses, attempts, unlocked hints, score, and win streaks, associated with your anonymous identifier.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

To ensure proper functionality and performance, certain technical data may be collected automatically:

• Device identifiers
• IP address
• Device type and operating system
• Crash reports and diagnostics

3. Advertising

GuessInho uses advertising to support the free availability of the application. We do not sell user data. Ads are shown at two points: to unlock a hint early, and once after each completed game.

The app integrates Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. AdMob may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device identifiers
• Advertising identifiers
• IP address
• Interaction data with advertisements

These data are processed by Google in accordance with its own Privacy Policy:

Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent form (in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) before any ad is served, allowing them to accept or decline personalized advertising.

4. Hosting and Data Security

Gameplay data is hosted by Supabase, on servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Access is protected by server-side security rules; no sensitive data can be read or modified directly from the app.

5. Data Retention

Your anonymous identifier and gameplay data are kept for as long as you use the app. The monthly leaderboard resets every month; aggregated progress (win streak, best score) is kept for the game to function correctly. Uninstalling the app removes the local identifier from your device; associated data can be deleted on request (see section 7).

6. Children's Privacy

GuessInho does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Since GuessInho does not collect an email address or real name, please include your in-app nickname and, if possible, the approximate date you played so we can locate your data.

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the version in effect.
